Last night, I was at a red light rocking out to some Justin Timberlake when all of a sudden, my car lunges forward.
I look in my rear view mirror just in time to make out the “f” word come out of the driver’s mouth. I’ve been rear ended. I get out of the car and notice the out of state license plate. My dislike for out of state drivers multiply instantly.
Irritated me: “What happened?”
Arizona driver: “I’m sorry, I got distracted by the pretty and shiny building.”
I look at the building she’s pointing at and have to admit that I too have been distracted by the very same building in the past. I guess I can’t blame her…
Only in Beverly Hills is a building “pretty and shiny” enough to cause a car accident.
