For those of us born with stubborn straight lashes… here’s the trick to finally get the perfectly curled lashes you’ve always wanted!
Follow these easy steps to become a curling champion!
- Follow directions on how to Hairspray Your Lashes. Please don’t literally spray your lashes
- Here’s the key… Curl at the base and release, curl mid lash and release, then curl near the tip of the lash and release. You can curl in 3 places like I’ve just outlined, but I typically curl in 4-5 places spaced evenly through the length of my lash. This will give your lashes a natural full curl throughout the entire length of the lash. If you just curled at the base of you lash… you’d have lashes that point straight up!
I love my Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler ($19), because of it’s mushroom shape and strong silicone pad. Unfortunately, these are no longer sold at Sephora.
You can order them online, but if you’re in a hurry to get a new eyelash curler… Shiseido’s ($19) is a good alternative. Both come with an extra pad. Each pad should last you about 3 months with daily use.
Happy Curling!~

Do you know of a good mini eyelash curler to leave in your purse? I sometimes do my lashes after work / before happy hour… And I have an awful mini eyelash curler I just put up with….

I’ll look into it but my experiences have been bad too. Which one do you use?

This throws me back to the first time I saw one of these; I was little and thought it looked like a medi-evil torture device! Needless to say I love mine (:
